THE DAM
TISZATÁJI VADÁSZ NADIN GINGERVIZ (IMP HUN) (Nova)

Nova joined The GVP Club as a direct import from Hungary and is the sister to Remi, forming part of a carefully selected and highly considered breeding line.

From the outset, Nova integrated seamlessly into the GVP family. She presents with a beautifully balanced structure, slightly more robust in build, with a lighter russet-gold coat and an exceptionally smooth finish. Her natural athleticism is paired with strong hunting instincts, reflecting her heritage and capability.

Nova is highly intelligent and demonstrates an exceptional ability to learn, progressing through training with ease and consistency. Her temperament is best described as fiercely independent yet deeply loyal—a combination we value highly within our programme. While composed and self-assured, she remains affectionate and engaged, never far from seeking connection with those around her.

Breeding & Development

Nova welcomed her first litter in March 2024 as a maiden bitch. As is often the case with a first litter, numbers were smaller, resulting in two exceptionally strong and well-developed puppies. Whilst this meant disappointing some on the waiting list, smaller litters often benefit from increased maternal resource, contributing to excellent early growth and development.

Both Nova and her sister Remi have undergone advanced training, and we are extremely proud of the standard Nova has set as a dam. Her natural instincts, combined with structured early development, position her as a key part of the GVP breeding programme moving forward.

Health & Genetic Assurance

Nova has completed all relevant health testing in line with The Kennel Club guidelines and has passed with excellent results.

Full health records are available via the Kennel Club Health Test Results Finder.

Expected Offspring

Based on Nova’s structure and lineage, we anticipate her offspring to be slightly larger within breed standards:

  • Bitches: approximately 21kg

  • Dogs: approximately 25kg

As always, final size will be influenced by individual development, nutrition, and environment.

Nova’s puppies are expected to be:

  • well-balanced and adaptable

  • suitable as exceptional family companions

  • equally capable in working or show environments, should owners wish to pursue this

Most Recent Litter — March 2026

Nova welcomed her most recent litter in March 2026, delivering six exceptional puppies — four girls and two boys.

This litter has been a particularly strong representation of Nova’s consistency as a dam. From the earliest stages, the puppies demonstrated excellent birth weights, steady progression, and calm, settled demeanours within the whelping environment. As they have developed, we have seen a clear reflection of Nova’s defining traits — intelligence, independence, and quiet confidence — balanced with a natural willingness to engage.

Throughout their early weeks, the litter has responded exceptionally well to the structured GVP early development programme. Puppies have shown:

  • Strong food engagement and trainability indicators

  • Balanced temperaments across the group, with no extremes

  • Confident environmental responses as new stimuli have been introduced

  • Early signs of focus and composure beyond their age

Of particular note within this litter is the consistency across all six puppies. Rather than a wide variation, this litter has presented as a cohesive group, making them especially well-suited to a range of family environments while maintaining the potential for working or further training pathways.

Nova has once again demonstrated herself to be a calm, attentive, and instinctively capable mother, maintaining excellent condition and providing steady, reliable care throughout.

This litter further reinforces Nova’s position within the GVP breeding programme as a dependable and high-quality dam, consistently producing puppies that align with our standards of temperament, structure, and early development.

Future Litters

Nova’s next planned litter is scheduled for Summer 2027.

As with all GVP litters, this will be a carefully considered pairing, aligned with our ongoing focus on temperament, health, and long-term suitability for modern family life.

This upcoming litter is already partially reserved, reflecting the continued demand for Nova’s line and the consistency she has demonstrated as a dam. Applications will open in a limited capacity, with priority given to clients who align with our structured, interview-led process
